    Angela, what I saw in the video work work the same in our schools if many policies were turned upside down to benefit students and their learning. So much now focuses on politics and tenure – things not very helpful in the end for students.

    Robyn,I agree. There are many things “upside-down” in the world of education. If we could take politics out and focus on students and learning, there would be an entirely different conversation. I have been showing teachers this video all week and the reaction is much the same as yours. Thanks again for sharing your perspective.

    Angela, what a clever and truthful video.
    Unfortunately, we, here in the USofA, in my opinion, are focusing on the blame not focusing on the problem. This is true not only for our educational woes but other problems as well.

    When will we ever learn that hyperbole and infighting will not fix our ills and that the inane posturing of our politicians, whatever their stripe, are tearing apart rather than building a cohesive nation which could accomplish anything it chooses to do?
