Meme - Passion Quilt - Take 2!
I was previously tagged by Pat at SuccessfulTeaching, to take part in this amazing project called the Passion Quilt Meme, brainchild of Miguel Guhlin. My friend, Doug Noon at Borderland tagged me again, and I was happy to play along. Passion for education is one thing I do not mind sharing and spreading the word for!
Here's how it works :
- Post a picture from a source like Flickr Creative Commons or make/take your own that captures what you are most passionate about for kids to learn…and give your picture a short title.
- Title your blog post “Meme: Passion Quilt” and link back to this blog entry.
- Include links to 5 folks in your professional learning network or whom you follow on Twitter/Pownce.
This image is one of my favorites. It speaks volumes about the work we do. Whether I'm teaching college students or my own children, it is all about love. It may be the love I feel when I see the lights of understanding turn on in their eyes or the love my students give back to me when I see them pursue their own dreams. Either way, given or received, we all benefit and are better because of love.
Anyone can participate, but Kevin, Tom, Fredrick, Simon, Tom, consider yourself officially tagged!!

What a great picture! I think a passion for education is a must for an effective and successful educator. And I definitely think you fit the description!
