I feel so blessed to be a part of amazing conversations each day through my blog and on Twitter. It was not that long ago, I was just starting out. It was the generosity and kindness of many bloggers in those first months that gave me the courage and confidence to continue.
One of my New Years Blog goals is to extend that same welcoming hand out to new bloggers finding their way around the neighborhood. Throughout the year , I will be featuring their talent and contributions to the conversation.
I need your help!! If you know of any new bloggers or you are just starting out yourself - leave the blog address and what you think makes it good in the comments. If you are on Twitter – please tag your tweet or DM with #newblog.
Remember, we are smarter together, and there is lots to do to make the world a better place for our children!
Let's Welcome to the Neighborhood: Jonathan Pratt from Mind, Brain, and Education
Jason explores two of my favorite topics- education and neuroscience!
Jason brings his background in neuroscience together with his interest in cognitive educational psychology to explore ways to build the link between brain/mind research and educational practice.
Here are a few of my favorite posts from Jonathan:
- The Less-Homework Reovolution
- Measuring Academic ability, Teacher Retention and Student Learning
- Standards Based Grading and the Role of Effort
If you love the topic neuroscience and education, I get the latest news and updates from my friends:
