- I am a big advocated for putting the fun back in learning. Games have a great way of breathing energy and excitement into any learning lesson. Games for Education is community-run resource making it easy for educators, librarians and parents to find the perfect game to fit their learning objective. They have just launched the Game Finder to make it easy to search their extensive database of games ensuring you find exactly what you are looking for- Enjoy!
- Boys Read is on a mission to transform boys into lifelong readers. With ideas from parents, educators, librarians, mentors, authors, and booksellers, you will find incredible resources and tools to motivate even the most reluctant reader.
- I am always on the look out for innovative ways to engage students. I was so excited to learn about the recently launched blogging’ book club for 8th-12th graders. Each month The Corner educational team chooses a book-of-the-month that conveys messages of tolerance, compassion and non-violent expressions of achieving social justice. Corner book club members join in this great space to discuss, debate, critique and share their ideas on these important life topics. What a fantastic way to get kids excited and engaged in what real readers do!
