Birthday_cake The time has flown by, and the friendships and learning continue to increase exponentially. I can hardly believe that two years has passed.

In the summer of 2007, I met Mike Sansone on a chance at a local Panera. When I told him I was a 21st century educator, he smiled. He knew what was about to happen — if I was up to the challenge. I had my doubts.

Since then, a whole new world of learning has opened up to me.  I'm smarter because of my use of social media. Smarter because of my friends met online. Smarter by new habits of infosumption.

There are so many people to thank and celebrate with, from education and business alike. Some blogs and authors that helped get me started, helped get me connected, and in many cases — embraced me like a long lost friend (in no particular order):

Scott McLeod, David Armano, Pat Hensley, Drew McLellan, Karl Fisch, Alan November, Mike Wagner, Jeff Utecht, Robyn McMaster, Ellen Weber, Wesley Fryer, Ben Grey, Steve Roesler, Garr Reynolds, John Connell, Delaney Kirk, Mike Fisher, Richard Byrne, Gavin Heaton, Larry Ferlazzo, Dennis Richards, Bud Hunt, Vicki Davis, Darren Draper, Mrs Durff, Steve Hargadon, Angela Stockman, Mack Collier, Paula White, Linda704, David Jakes, Rosa Say, Joel, David Warlick, and many more I'm probably missing right now. Of course, I love all my tweeps too!
