Yesterday I posted about the I DO, WE DO, YOU DO recipe for successful learning. I had the pleasure of putting these critical learning principals in action with some on-the-job training at Smashburger U.
Take a look at my fabulous teacher in action as he facilitates my learning. As you watch me work my way towards burger independence, see if you can recognize the critical ingredients of successful learning: Modeling, Shared Exploration, Guided Practice, Feedback, Coaching, and Reflection.
Well, I am not quite ready for the lunch hour rush where on a busy day at Smashburger, one may be called upon to successfully smash 30-40 burgers at a time. Yet, thanks to great teachers and a powerful learning model, I am certainly on my way! (Who knows, maybe I'll start cooking at home:-))
