We’ve recently launched a Facebook Fan Page for … you!
After talking with a few folks about the definition of “Facebook Fan Page,” we decided that the “fan page” part wasn’t so much about Maiers Educational Services – but more about you, the learners I serve, share, and work with.
So rather than create an invite asking you to Be A Fan of …, I’m saying I’m A Fan of yours.
As we build this out, I’m looking forward to co-creating a community with you on the Facebook Fan’s page where teachers and educators can create and continue conversations we may have started elsewhere. I’m hoping there will be a discussion board, a video sharing component, questions and more.
A great classroom is filled with a community of learners in active conversation and collaboration. That’s what I’m hoping our “Facebook Fan’s Page” will become.
If you’re a Facebook guru and can think of other “plugins” to help guide this community, I’d love to hear your ideas (Use the Ask Angela button up top).
