- The Big Deal Amazing resources for educators. The site seeks to identify top-quality resources for schools and classroom from sources of grants to professional development training materials and tools.
- Togetherville is a new social network for children aged 6–10 and their parents. Togetherville allows parents to build a social circle for their children based on their own collection of Facebook friends. The children can then interact with the children of their parents’ friends, and specific adults that their parents have chosen, in a semiprivate environment. The content on the site is curated, so children can play games, make art projects and watch or share videos, but everything they have access to has been vetted in advance.
- CampusBookRentals has created a great list of free resources to help students save money. They have aggregated some awesome student discounts and published them all in one place. If you have any deal you know about, post here to get added to the list or contact the folks at campusbooks directly.
- Twitoria is a twitter application which helps you unfollow twitter users who haven’t tweeted in a long time i.e. you can find out all the inactive twitter users you are following.
- UnTweeps is one really simple free service that will help you identify inactive users you’re currently following. It will show you who hasn’t tweeted of late, and give you the option to unfollow them.
