Recently, I was given the honor of speaking at the first 140 character conference hosted by the Social Media Club in Des Moines. This conference is a unique gathering of social media evangelists that meet to discuss the impact of the Internet in modern business and education.
Organized by the inspired Mr. Jeff Pulver, creator of pulver.com and a leader in the web community, this conference allowed me to express my ideas to a group of people who I knew could understand and relate to me. I was so excited to tell my story about trust and belief in the best of humanity to show the value of true kindness.
I hope that by watching this video you will all begin to understand that you, and everyone else, matter and that your actions, no matter how small, will never be “just” anything.
