Tools I’m Lovin’

Youtube recently launched youtube.com/teachers, an exiting new educational tool! It allows teachers of all subjects and grade levels to better use videos on Youtube in their classrooms. Incorporating videos into lessons is a great example of technology in education, and Youtube’s teacher channel will make it easier for teachers everywhere to find, make, share, and use videos educationally.

The channel includes advice for teachers on how to most effectively use Youtube videos in class, as well as features that allow teachers to organize videos into educational playlists for certain subjects–ideal for class preparation and planning! Teachers can sign up to receive information and updates about the channel and about incorporating videos into the classroom.
